Project setup

For a market leader in RoRo shipping and vehicle logistics, transporting cars, trucks, rolling equipment and breakbulk around the world we assisted in digitalizing their internal and external processes. This client offers processing, assembly, customization, repair, rectification and dispatch services.

Trilations was called in to assist in developing an in-house track & trace system integrated in the warehouse module of Oracle Netsuite. The aim was to set up a paperless and automated environment allowing overall efficiency and quality of service gains.

For this system we took care of the business analysis, requirements gathering, functional design, testing, integration, training and change management. The development was done by an external party.

The successful implementation of this cloud application not only provided increased efficiency and time saving internally, the client experience also greatly improved, resulting in an increase in revenue. An added benefit was the general decrease of printed documents, resulting in a more environmentally friendly way of working.

Trilations was able to complete this project in a time span of 36 weeks.
